The eVisitor (subclass 651) is a free electronic travel authorisation for passport holders of eligible European and select other countries. It allows you to visit Australia for tourism or business purposes.
Unlike a traditional visa, the eVisitor is linked electronically to your passport — no label or stamp is placed in your document. You can apply entirely online in just a few minutes, and it is valid for multiple trips over 12 months, with each stay limited to 3 months.
Eligible Countries
Available to passport holders from EU member states, the UK, Norway, Iceland and other select European countries.
Multiple Entry
Valid for 12 months from the date of grant, with multiple entries allowed. Each stay must not exceed 3 months.
No Visa Label
This visa is held electronically. There is no label or stamp placed in your passport — just show your passport at the border.
