Electronic Travel Authority 601
The Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601) is a type of tourist visa for passport holders from eligible countries including the USA, Canada, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia and more.
Unlike the eVisitor, there is a small service charge for the ETA. It can be applied for via the official AusTravelETA app, through a travel agent, or via airlines. Once approved it is electronically linked to your passport and is valid for 12 months with multiple entries, each stay up to 3 months.
