Regional Pathway

Subclass 494 → 191

Skilled Regional (SESR)

Employer-sponsored regional visa (Subclass 494) for 5 years, transitioning to permanent residency through Subclass 191 after meeting regional residency requirements.

Lodge an Expression of Interest through Australia's SkillSelect system with your points score and personal details.

Receive an Invitation

If your points meet the threshold in the regular invitation round, you'll receive an invitation to apply for a skilled migration visa.

Lodge Visa Application

Submit your full visa application within 60 days of receiving your invitation, including all required documentation.

Health & Character Checks

Complete a medical examination at an approved clinic and provide police clearance certificates from all countries you've lived in.

Visa Grant — Welcome to Australia

Once approved, your PR visa is granted. You can activate it by entering Australia before the initial entry deadline.
